This is the most uncharted and loved to hate topic though

Uncharted  because,  vastly,  people  believe  that  astrology  is  used  to  know  matters  in  one’s  life.  Then  in  lesser  numbers  people  find  that  astrology  can  be  used  to  find  an  auspicious  time  to  conduct  an  event  whereby  insuring  success  or  against  failure.  Furthermore  people  believe  that  astrology  can  be  used  to  decide  which  commodities  will  have  bull  runs  and  bear  runs  at  various  times  in  the  future.  There  are  even  a  few  who  use  astrology  in  sports  betting  and  predicting  world  events  of  mundane  nature.  There  are  now  signs  that  people  are  approaching  towards  astrology  as  a  Management  tool  mainly  because   with  increased  literacy,  intelligence,  information, many people study astrology and find out similies in the various significations of horoscope.

Let’s talk about the fifth house of a chart. It signifies child birth (obviously in communion with other    house and planets).

Now look at subsidiaries, what are they? Children of the parent company?

Ok how will you look at production? The eighth house of regenerative organs, friends!!!!!. HR any one? Look at your sixth house of sub ordinates. So can it be possible to foretell HR issues? Of course, look at the negative  transits  to  the  sixth  house,  its  lord,  the  natural  significator  of  HR  (Saturn)  also  observe  which  planet  is  making this transit, this may tell you the nature or cause and/or the department. Tell me can there be a MIS tool which can do this?  Would it not be fabulous to know well in advance when you will be short of cash? You can then time your WC accordingly; your treasury functions could be strategically calculated accordingly. This can also set in motion, the discovery process (what could lead to this financial problem) and thereby nip it in the bud.

What is managing all about?  Foreseeing  opportunities  and  challenges,  creating  opportunities  and  challenges  ——-  for  others,  reducing  the  risks,  maximizing  the  profits,  handling  uninterrupted  flow  of  resources(finance, HR, Raw material, etc.)

How can you do this?

Well astrology can do all that.

Management would not or does not want to accept that astrology can be used in many ways for effective and productive business. They are more attuned to MIS tools that they have the control on. One would  definitely  trust  a  systematic  and  scientific  tool,  which  one  has  been  taught  to  use  at  B-School.

Bingo.

These and more reasons can be given for being in favour of management tools and against astrology as a management tool. Well let me say something too.

Astrology  is  one  of  the  oldest  logical  sciences  in  the  world,  developed  obviously  from  multiple  observations.  Please  tell  me,  why  Mars  has  been  considered  as  a  war  lord  in  Greek  and  Roman  mythology  and  astrology?  Indian  Vedic  system  too  says  the  same  things  as  also  other  systems  of  astrology.  To  note  here,  is  of  importance  that  these  principles  were  construed  even  before  these  civilizations  had  come  in  touch  with  each  other.  Probe  further  and  you  will  notice  that  there  are  many  similarities  in  almost  all  systems  of  astrology. Indian, Western horoscopy, Numerology, Tarot and many others talk of Sun as soul and Moon as mind, why has not even a single system of astrology differed? Ok lets take time off here and really think.

There definitely thus is a systematic scientific logical analysis and empirical proof with these systems to  have  individually  decided  on  the  basic  fundamentals  of  astrology.  The  multitude  of  sub  patterns  to  help  predict  the  future  vary  vastly  amongst  these  systems  is  the  stark  truth,  but  is  of  little  importance  to  us  here,  while  we  will  definitely  take  a  dig  at  these  prediction  styles  and  tools,  may be in later workshops.

Let me now give you some basic tips.

Transiting  Mercury  is  in  applying  negative  aspects  like  conjunction,  opposition  or  square  to  naturally malefic planets Rahu, Ketu, Mars, Saturn. This may also reveal the nature of communication  problems.

Logistics  comes  under  Saturn  and  of  course  a  bit  of  Mercury  and  Mars,  but  its  main  domain  ruler  is  Saturn.  A disturbed Saturn calls for logistics issues.  HR  too,  mainly  the  labour  comes  under the purview  of  Saturn,  so  whenever  you  find  labour  unrests  or  problems,  check  transiting  Saturn  or  aspects  to  your  natal Saturn.

The  ascendant  of  any  person’s  natal  chart  indicates  his  basic  nature.  You  can  use  this  knowledge  in  recruitment  at  lower  levels  and  middle  cadre.  Senior  Managers  you  are  obviously  going to hire, the ones  who  have  exhibited  success  in  their  careers.  It’s  the  army  (your  entry  level  and  middle  level  managers,  that  counts.  No company can afford having misfits.  His/hers  education  can  be  different  but  the  nature  and  characteristics  that  one  comes  with  determine  the person’s ability to put the acquired knowledge to  productive use.

Lets have an example.

You need a sales guy for financial products and services.

One  may  hire  a  fresh  graduate  or  PG  or  someone  who  has  experience  of  a  couple  of  years  with  or  without  education  or  training  in  finance.  He  opts  for  the  job  because  sales,  is  the  major  employer,  he  wants  to  have  a  high  salary  and  glamorous  career  in  the  finance  sector.  This guy  chooses  sales  as  a   domain  and  finance  as  sector  on  any  basis  other  than  science,  he  does  not  know  his  aptitude for sales as and finance. There are definitely various profiling tools to know this, but why would he do so? And why should you too?  Why  spend  so  much,  where  there  is  a  lot  of  attrition. Well if you know that he is an Arian  (by  ascendant  or  sun  sign  or  moon  sign  or  ascendant  lord  placement)  with  a  combination  of  a  strong   second  house  or  its  influence  on  the  tenth  house or it lord), you know that he will be more comfortable and enjoy this work of selling financial products. In this manner you can determine recruitment of a more satisfied work force which can individually and collectively be more productive at less cost to the company. Your  costs  could  be  recruitment  costs,  training,  loss  of  opportunities  and  business  due  to  a  misfit,  low  morale spreading around, time spent on motivating a misfit.

The  key  to  recruiting  through  astrology  is,  to  first  identify  your  needs  in  each  department  and  the   particular  position,  then  select  people  who  have  formal  education  and  training  in  the  same,  the last step  is to select a person who best matches your requirements through astrology. You have now hedged the maximum risks and opened up more opportunities to have a successful work force.

In  short  you  can  definitely  plan  well  in  advance  about  your  company  and  make  it  more  profitable.

Astrology is not limited to knowing when one will get married or how many kids or when will go abroad. It is also not about predicting the prices of commodities and make huge profits by speculating. Astrology is a wonderful management tool if used wisely.
