general trend of the RBI policy in 2009
India’s Independence Chart
- Throughout 2009 Guru will be opposite natal Budha, the lord of the second house of finance
- Ketu will be passing over natal Budha
- Till September 2009 it will be Ketu Antardasha in Sukra Mahadasha in force. Sukra is the lord of the sixth house of debts.
Taking the above astrological points in consideration Ganesha feels that the RBI policy in general as regards to the current inflationary trends in 2008, will be mostly pointed and targeted towards stopping the money flow in 2009. There are scopes and possibilities that the interest rates PLR and CRR may be increased. The RBI may allow increase in the Fixed Deposit rates.
The national debt seems to be increasing in 2009, so the other policy will be to control forex rates and flow of foreign currency. Steps to control the same in any form may be taken.
The policies in the first and the third quarters of 2009 may be anti inflationary, stable in the second quarter and will be inflationary in the last quarter of 2009.
Ganesha thus feels that overall the RBI’s policies will be targeted towards money flow control akin to reducing its availability, i.e. anti inflationary.
